Use Low Pressure When Power Washing Stucco Finishes

If your stucco surfaces look like power washing is required, Texas Durarock LLC recommends using a low-pressure (2068–3447 kPa/300–500 PSI) power wash with cold water.

You should try to avoid frequent power washing and never use hot water. Hot water can cause premature deterioration of the stucco finish. Always keep the nozzle at least 2 feet away from the wall surface. Excessive pressure can damage textured finishes and remove color.
