You can remove environmental contaminants from stucco walls simply by rinsing the walls with clean water using a garden hose and high-flow hand nozzle. If there are some tough spots, use a soft bristle brush with a mild household detergent or dishwasher soap solution and rinse with clean water.

If the surface is stained or heavily soiled, you may need to use a stronger solution but should follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. Always spray the wall with clean water first from bottom to top and then from top to bottom.

We recommend you test cleaning products in an inconspicuous area to assess the strength of the solution and ensure no harmful effects on the stucco surface or color.

Never allow cleaning solutions to dry on the wall. You should rinse the wall thoroughly with clean water to remove all traces of loosened dirt and cleaning solution.  Do not use wire brushes or solvent-based cleaners and avoid excessive scrubbing.
